Hi, Hey, Hello!
So it’s basically been established that I love a good tag post, so here is the second one for the week. I saw this post on Friday afternoon and it was all about food and I love food so I figured hey let me talk about that for around 1,000 words or however long this post gets. And here we are, 25 questions about food.
1. What’s your favourite breakfast?
I am so odd about breakfast. Like I just don’t know what to do with it. Ever. I love a really good almond croissant though.
2. How do you drink your coffee?
I am so not all that fussed about it as long as there is caffeine involved (I work at a coffee company, this is borderline blasphemous what I’m saying). My default during the week is a latte (because it’s the only thing I can really nail) and then at weekends I tend to go iced in some capacity.
3. What’s on your favourite sandwich?
Chicken and bacon. Although for some reason I have really been going in on salmon, cream cheese and cucumber rolls for reasons I really do not understand.
4. Soup or Salad?
Soup. Salads just don’t get it done for me at any time.
5. What’s your favourite cookbook?
I don’t use cookbooks all that often, although there are lot in the house.
6. No more sweets or no more hearty foods?
No more sweets I guess…because when you say hearty foods I think pasta and shit and I cannot deal without pasta. Pasta is my life.
7. What’s your favourite Cuisine?
I love food so much though…how could I possibly choose?? (Who am I kidding, it’s Italian. Pizza and pasta, let’s be real. I love.)
8. What’s your favourite food movie?
Chef. I watched it cos I was bored, but it got me within about 10 minutes, and then just made me really hungry.
9. What’s your most guilty pleasure?
I haven’t done it in a while because it’s very much a behind closed doors, no one must ever know about it and that hasn’t happened in a while, but I am partial to getting McVitites (it has to be them) plain digestives and a nice big jar of Nutella and then I scoop…
10. What’s your greatest inspiration source?
For someone who watches as many cooking shows as I do I should really be inspired more.
11. Cooking at home or going out for dinner?
Oh going out for sure, because sometimes cooking is just so much effort that I can’t be bothered to make.
12. High end or low profile?
13. What’s your favourite restaurant?
Oh, what? I don’t know. I love so many places. I cannot choose, don’t make me.
14. I do my grocery shopping at:
Waitrose, M&S or Tesco mainly.
15. The tastiest food I’ve ever eaten was:
But I like so much food though. I love a good burger though and the best burger that I have had recently was at the end of June when I went to Bill’s in Covent Garden/Leicester Square (seriously, it claims to be the former but is about 45 seconds away from the latter as is the nature of that area).
17. Coffee with George Clooney or Heston Blumenthal?
18. What should not be missing in your kitchen?
A decent set of knives.
19. What is your favourite snack?
This is purely because I know that there are some in my house right now and that’s a rarity because otherwise it would be a serious problem and they are Texas BBQ Pringles. I love them, they are my favourite and yeah totally junky, but incredible.
20. What’s on your pizza?
23. What’s the weirdest thing you’ve ever eaten?
I haven’t really eaten all that much weird stuff to be honest. I am very skeptical about trying too many weird, unknown things when it comes food because I like to eat.
24. What’s on your food bucket list?
Eating actual Mexican food in Mexico.
If you could only eat one thing for the rest of your life, what would it be?
