Letters to Autumn 25

Dear Autumn,

So this letter today didn’t come all that easily. Again.

It started with me staring at those two opening words and then coming up with nothing but a scheduled time and my name. Then I started on my earlier post which came to me much easier and also came with the bonus of me listening to 14 songs that I am loving right now. But I somehow made that last for nearly 3 hours and so I went to bed last night/this morning (my clock hit 2am and then went straight back to 1am just before I put my phone down for the night) with those same two words being the only thing that this post consisted of.

I spent my morning trying to think of things that I could say, but none held my interest for all that long.

And then I turned to Youtube to watch a video that I meant to watch last night but then didn’t get around to because I can procrastinate anything I want with great efficiency (a kind of oxymoron I know). But from watching that video I then spiraled and started to watch a whole bunch.

And basically I fell into a rabbit hole that just involved (still is happening as I type this letter) clicking on video after video as they showed up in the sidebar.

So this is basically just a quickly written letter to inform you Autumn of the fact that my Sunday afternoon (and maybe evening we’ll see) consisted of musical theater and Disney songs sung by some of my favourite people and I imagine, because they keep on showing up in the sidebar as well, that at some point I ended up watching SNL clips as well.

It’s the way some Sundays need to be spent.
