Hi, Hey, Hello!
It’s the last Sunday of the month, I’m gonna refrain from dismaying at the fact that another month is almost over (although I guess that by writing that that I have just dismayed the fact…) and just get on with the music thing.
There are so many artists on this song that it was easier to list the album it was from then the people who are on it…I haven’t actually seen Suicide Squad yet, mainly because I don’t ever make the trip to the cinema these days, but the soundtrack is insane. And anything that gives me more Imagine Dragons music is a winner.
I don’t even know where I heard this song for the first time. What I do know is that I made a note of it on my phone and so that must be a sign of something. So here it is.
I caught the back end of this song on the radio the other day and it piqued my interest, so I thought I would check out the whole song, and here it is. I’m a fan.
What does it say about me that I have been listening to this song and the following one on repeat all month? They have two very different sentiments and yet I could not stop listening to either. The beat of this song is pretty guaranteed to make me want to dance every single time it starts, which ain’t great when I listen to it mostly whilst I am walking places.
The harmonies at the end of this song. Good God. And how beautifully simple it is hits me somewhere. Such a stunning song.
I heard this song for the first time a couple of weeks ago now just casually on a Friday at work and I instantly feel in love with it. I love Halsey’s voice so much and it sounds so good on this song.
Look for as long as Mendes keeps drip feeding this second album there are gonna be songs from it everything month. His vocals on this song are just insane and the song itself is just killer.
I have been watching a lot of Olympics recently because it is always on. And therefore I have been hearing this song a lot, which I am not gonna complain about. It’s so good. That voice, yaassss.
I heard this song purely by chance because I was in some kind of vortex that lead to me going a montage video watching thing and this song was used in the background of one. I love the original version of this song (and another version of it came up in an old post) so much, but this cover. Fuck. This cover floored me. I kind of stopped paying attention to the video just to focus on the song. The vocals, especially towards the end. Ugh. So in love. The whole thing, so in love.
You know me, I always love a Tove Lo song and this one is a great one (and also has a Gone Girl link, which I am so down for).
And that’s August’s playlist done.
