Letters to Autumn 9

Letters to Autumn: The 2016 Edition 9

Dear Autumn,

I woke up 12:15 today which means that for the first time in a long while I have actually slept my entire morning away and also slept a solid 10 hours, which was something that I needed. Travelling, although pretty straight forward, somehow always seems to know how to take it’s toll on you whether you realise it or not. So, yeah I woke up at 12:15 today and then finally got out of bed almost an hour later and that was the extent of my lazing around in bed for the day done.

I then showered, gave my hair a much needed wash and condition and then finished watching Easy on Netflix (which I started yesterday, but I mean 8 half hour episodes isn’t hard to binge watch, I’ve done more hours in a weekend) ate a shit ton of pasta, drank some coffee and continued with my new obsession that is Best Fiends (seriously I have wasted so much time on it today). Then I caught up on a week’s worth of Masterchef Australia, started watching Sisters, ate some more, played some more Best Fiends and then watched the Strictly results show.

It’s basically been the epitome of a lazy Sunday. One that was much needed before getting back into the swing of things again tomorrow. I’ll probably end up watching something else on Netflix/Amazon, play some more of that damn game, slap an exfoliating face mask on my temperamental as hell skin before I eventually venture upstairs and go back to (hopefully) doing some more sleeping.

Then it’s back to it tomorrow and a fairly busy week for me because I have elected to get a life and go out and about after work.

Until tomorrow Autumn,

Sophie, twenty-something, avid reader, writer, really good at watching whole seasons of TV shows in one weekend and using 10 words where 5 will do, overzealous user of the ellipsis and parentheses, starts too many sentences with ‘and’ and ‘so’, living in a continual state of Wanderlust.
