Hamilton Book Tag

Hi, Hey, Hello!

So again, in my reading I came across this on the same blog that yesterday’s post came from and I found this. Which honestly I thought I had already done, because as you know, I am obsessed with Hamilton and kind of in full on countdown mode as it is now less than a month until I finally see it for the first time (and just over a month before I see it for the second time).

And because I cannot have it be the case that this tag does not get done on this blog because it combines 2 of my favourite things in Hamilton and books.

Enough rambling, let’s just get to it.

The Room Where It Happens: A book world you would put yourself in

I think this is kind of obvious…it’s the Wizarding world.

The Schuyler Sisters: An underrated female character

Can we discuss Ginny Weasley here…?

My Shot: A character that goes after what they want and doesn’t let anyone stop them

Paige Mahoney comes to mind here. In that she remains very focused on her one goal overall. Although it’s only been 3 books so far, so maybe that will change. Given her track record so far, I doubt it. She wants what she wants and she’s going to get it.

Stay Alive: A character you wish was still alive

Sirius Black. And also Tric…I have yet to read Godsgrave  yet, but for some reason a very small, unrealistic part of me is confused that he is going to come back from the dead.

Burn: The most heartbreaking end to a relationship you’ve ever read

Is saying Me Before You kind of obvious…? I didn’t even find it all that heartbreaking because it was inevitable. I don’t know. I think what I found sad about it was that come After You Lou had fallen back into the person that she was before she met Will even though she told that she wouldn’t.

You’ll Be Back: Sassiest villain

I don’t even know. Sebastian Morgenstern maybe…

The Reynolds Pamphlet: A book with a twist that you didn’t see coming

Fucking Gone Girl.

Non-Stop: A series you marathoned

I actually marathoned the Harry Potter series. And then I kind of did the same with The Mortal Instruments and The Infernal Devices.

Satisfied: Favorite book with multiple POVs

And I Darken, which is only told from two, but it’s enough.

Who Lives, Who Dies, Who Tells Your Story: A book/series you feel like will be remembered throughout history

So this is gonna come up again, Harry Potter. And probably Game of Thrones as well. And the Discworld.

Helpless: A relationship you were pulling for from the very start

I feel like I get attached to so many characters and their relationships with other people. But then the first relationship that came to mind was Aristotle and Dante.

Ten Duel Commandments: Favourite fight scene

The scrimmage in The Mime Order.

Say No To This: Guilty pleasure read

I don’t think I have one. I guess any time I get to go back to a book that I read when I was younger and the only reason I feel guilty about it is because it means I’m not reading something new.

What Comes Next: A series you wish had more books

I am still kind of craving a Marauders era series. I’m greedy I know.

Right Hand Man: Favorite BROTP

Crowley and Aziraphale.

What’d I Miss: A book or series you were/still are late to reading

The Miss Peregrine series. It’s on my list, and I’ve wanted to read it for a while, I’ve just never got around to it so far.

And there we have it, a right has been wronged. I have completed yet another book tag and my bookish November is coming to an end, which is kind of crazy because that means that it’s almost December and that the year is nearly over…

Parentheses count:  1. See you tomorrow!
