Superlative Book Tag

Hi, Hey, Hello!

We all know how much I love me a tag post, and well here is another one. That I came across over on Floral Reads and I couldn’t let it pass me by, so here it is:

#1 Most likely to be in the movies: The book that would make the best movie

There are so many, I really want to see The Night Circus on a screen, that film just lends itself so beautifully to visuals and when I was reading it it just felt so cinematic. Oh and clearly, this will not be one of those posts where I don’t mention books that I haven’t already mentioned before. Oh, and also, just because I’m currently reading it but Rebel of the Sands would be an interesting film.

#2 Biggest drama queen/king: The most (overly) dramatic book or character

Romeo, Romeo and Juliet was prone to dramatics, in fact I remembering having a whole discussion at uni about how he was super messy and just needed to chill.

#3 Best dressed: The book with the best cover

I am a sucker for a good cover we all know that. There are so many of them that I love. The Conqueror’s Saga all have gorgeous covers and I am so excited to get Bright We Burn into my life, the cover is just stunning and so are the other two, they are some of my favourite.

#4 Most creative: The book with the most unique plot, characters, and structure

A Visit From the Goon Squad plays with conventional structure so much that I loved, but having said that I couldn’t really remember any of the characters that were in it, although I did read it nearly 4 years ago now. I do remember that the book felt like a bleak and yet accurate outlook on the world.

#5 Most popular: The book with the most ratings on Goodreads

According to the books that I have read the answer is The Complete Works of Shakespeare. The ones that I have yet to read the answer is A Court of Mist and Fury.

#6 Most likely to succeed: The book that is going to be appreciated for many years to come

I think The Bone Season series is slept on man. They are so good. They build so much and so quietly and everything is somehow both a slow burn and also super action packed. I could go on and on with how great so many aspects of this series are, but I will just say that Paige is one of my favourite characters of all time and with each book she grows more and more and I so excited as to what her next arc will hold.

#7 Class clown: The book that made you laugh out loud

Yes, Please, Amy Poehler. Also Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me?

#8 Most improved: The book that started off slow, but really picked up

I took a hot minute to get into History is All You Left Me but then when I did I was so into it and it held me up until I finished it about 4 days later.

#9 Cutest couple: The cutest couple in a book

There are so many, Fangirl though came with Cath and Levi whom I love. Actually so many of Rowell’s characters I love and end up as super cute couples. Attachments also springs to mind.

#10 Biggest heart breaker: The book that broke your heart

I am still very much all up in my feelings about They Both Die At the End.

And that is yet another book tag done for the day. Tomorrow there will be another book review because I am making quite the amount of progress with them and I do for the most part want to keep on top of these reviews so that when I write them the book is still fresh in my mind (that thing in November was more trying than I thought it would be).

Parentheses count: 1. See you tomorrow!
