Weird Questions Tag

Hi, Hey, Hello!

I was just having a read through the wonderful Karen’s blog the other day and came across this post, at the end of which she extended an open invitation to try this tag. I found myself in a bit of a slump and needing to get some writing done so I thought I would give this a shot to get something done and maybe influence something else. So here it is, the ‘weird’ questions tag:

Do you have a nickname that only your family use?

There is one person in the world who calls me Fifi and that is my uncle. I have no idea why, all I know is that he calls me that and I answer to it,

What’s a weird habit of yours?

I don’t think I have any habits that are particularly weird, I am almost always biting the skin on the inside of my mouth though which I guess is a bit weird.

Do you have any weird phobias?

Do slugs count? Because holy cow I am terrified of them. It’s like a semi paralysed in disgust and fear kind of phobia. Other things I am more casually afraid of, you know like I avoid them if I can, but I am not living in fear of them unless it presents a danger to me. Slugs however, no.

What song do you secretly love to blast out when your alone?

I don’t know how much of a secret this is really, but I Can’t Go For That, Hall and Oates is just my ultimate feel good tune.

What’s one of your biggest pet peeves?

Slow walkers in crowded places try my patience a little bit.

What’s one of your nervous habits?

I crack my knuckles and I switch over the top leg when my legs are crossed a lot. There are probably more that I don’t really notice. In fact there are probably tonnes, I am a nervy person.

What side of the bed do you sleep on?

I sleep in a single bed normally, but if I’m sharing a bed then I sleep on the left as you look at the bed and if I happen to have a double bed to myself then anything goes.

What was your first stuffed animal and it’s name?

I have only ever had one stuffed animal that has stuck with me all these years (and a whole bunch of Beanie Babies that are probably in the loft somewhere) and it is creatively named Big Bear, because my brother and I were real inventive with names back in the day.

What’s the drink you always order at Costa?

I prefer Starbucks and my order there is either a hazelnut mocha or a caramel macchiato, which I am currently putting over ice, because it’s summer. (This whole talking about coffee thing wasn’t even my fault this time, coffee is everywhere)

What’s a beauty rule you preach but never actually practice?

None anymore. I try to maintain a pretty decent routine with it all. Although maybe I should clean my make up brushes a bit more…

Which way do you face in the shower?

Facing away from the shower I guess. Is that not just easier? Although maybe my hair dictates that and I just don’t know it…

Do you have any ‘weird’ body skills?

I can roll my tongue, that is about it.

What’s your favourite ‘bad’ comfort food that you eat anyway?

I honestly don’t see the point in catergorising food as ‘good’ or ‘bad’. I try to eat as balanced as I can and some days include more ‘bad’ foods than others I guess but if I like it and I need a little pick me up, I’ll eat it.

What’s a phrase or exclamation that you always say?

I say ‘I know right’ probably more than I am willing to admit to these days. Oh and I say ‘soz b’ a lot now.

It’s time to sleep – what are you ACTUALLY wearing?

Done. If you want to do this then please give it a try, I extend an open invitation to you all, I love reading stuff like this.

Parentheses count: 2. See you on Sunday!
